The colour of your front door says a lot about your home and sets the tone for the style within so think carefully about this important decision.

Front Door Colours

Bowater Composite Doors are available in a wide choice of colours and wood grain effects;

  • Red
  • Blue
  • Green
  • Black
  • White
  • Golden Oak
  • Rosewood

On selected styles, the Golden Oak and Rosewood woodgrain effect UPVC doors are available with the colour on both sides, in place of the standard white interior finish - see the door styles section or request our brochure for details on which door styles this applies to.

Black and White Composite DoorsSo what colour of front door will you choose? Here are a few hints to help you.....

A White composite door always looks clean and fresh and is suited to either traditional or contemporary properties.

Black UPVC doors can make a dramatic impact, particularly when coupled with chrome door furniture - a classic combination.

A Blue front door creates an elegant entrance to your home that is timeless.

A Red front door is the ideal choice for those that want something a little different and to brighten the entrance to their home - particularly well suited to pale stone properties.

A Green front door sets a calming tone for visitors and is suited to almost any type of brick or stone.

A Golden Oak or Rosewood front door both add warmth due to their natural woodgrain effect finish. For properties that already feature Golden Oak, Rosewood or other woodgrain windows, this really is the perfect choice and many styles of Bowater Composite Doors are available with Golden Oak and Rosewood on the inside of the door too, for those that want to continue the wood theme within their home.

Once you've made the important decision about the colour of your new front door, you want it to stay looking bright and colourful. That's why the external surface of a Bowater Composite Door panel is made from GRP (Glass Reinforced Polymer). GRP is a highly durable material that is much more hard wearing than a traditional painted timber door which means that time consuming "touch-ups" are required much less frequently – if at all. So your Bowater Composite Door will remain a colourful addition to your home for may years to come.
